This is the online home of the Telling Tales Podcast.

As an English teacher and student of stories, I love to breathe life into old tales with interesting imagery, narrative development and character voices. This project is designed to develop the voice acting that I (and my students) enjoy, while also giving me an opportunity to develop my narrative writing skills.

The initial goal of this project in 2023 is to set out one new story a month. My initial season will bring stories from around the world, where we can hear some of the commonalities between cultures (particularly in their life-lessons).  

A new episode should be published on the 16th of every month. I am aware that Google Podcasts seems to take a little longer than other publishers for the episodes to go live. For the most up-to-date publications, Spotify will always be immediately up to date.

As with all projects like this, I am doing this to scratch a creative itch, but if you find what I am doing interesting/fun/helpful/etc. and would like to suggest upgrades, please do.
